(1) The department shall administer KRS § 248.290 to KRS § 248.440, and shall have general supervision over the sale of tobacco in warehouses throughout the state.
(2) The Commissioner shall employ such inspectors and other employees as are necessary for the enforcement of KRS § 248.290 to KRS § 248.440, and fix the duties and compensation of those employees.
