(1) No individual or business entity shall act or hold themselves out as an insurance purchasing outlet without first being registered as an insurance purchasing outlet by the commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Insurance in accordance with KRS § 304.17A-750 to KRS § 304.17A-770 and 304.47-020.
(2) No individual or business entity shall act for an insurance purchasing outlet to sell, solicit, or negotiate a health benefit plan to an eligible person unless the individual or business entity acting for the insurance purchasing outlet is licensed in accordance with Subtitle 9 of Chapter 304 as an agent with a health line of authority.
(3) The commissioner may promulgate administrative regulations necessary to administer KRS § 304.17A-750 to KRS § 304.17A-770 and 304.47-020.
