Massage therapists practicing under KRS § 309.350 to KRS § 309.364 shall not perform any of the following: diagnosis of illness or disease; high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust applied to a joint; spinal or pelvic adjustment or chiropractic manipulation; application of ultrasound; prescription of medication; or deep physical agent modalities, except hydrotherapy methods and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy or microcurrent devices for which the massage therapist has completed training required by the board.
