Nothing in KRS § 314.400 to KRS § 314.414 is intended to expand liability. In the event of an action for injury or death due to any act or omission of a licensed certified professional midwife licensed pursuant to KRS § 314.400 to KRS § 314.414, the liability of any other licensed healthcare provider shall be limited to their negligent acts and omissions that violate their standards of care according to existing law.
