The Board of Licensure for Pastoral Counselors fund is hereby created in the State
Treasury. All funds received by the board under the provisions of KRS § 335.600 to
335.699 shall be deposited with the State Treasurer for credit to the board fund. The fund shall be invested as all other state funds are invested, and income from investment of the fund shall be credited to the fund. The balance remaining in the fund at the end of any fiscal year shall not lapse to the general fund. The money in the board fund shall be appropriated to the board and shall be used for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of KRS § 335.600 to KRS § 335.699.

- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
