(1) Each limited partnership shall designate and continuously maintain in this
Commonwealth:

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 362.2-114

  • Foreign: when applied to a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, business trust, statutory trust, or limited liability company, includes all those incorporated or formed by authority of any other state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Partnership: includes both general and limited partnerships. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • Service of process: The service of writs or summonses to the appropriate party.

(a) A designated office, which need not be a place of its activity in this
Commonwealth; and
(b) A registered office and agent for service of process at that office that comply with KRS § 14A.4-010.
(2) Each foreign limited partnership qualified to transact business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall designate and continuously maintain in this Commonwealth a registered office and agent for service of process that comply with KRS § 14A.4-010.
