Upon appropriate petition in accordance with the above requirements of KRS § 387.870,
387.875, and 387.880 with respect to the establishment or approval of a special needs trust, the court may also permit the petitioner to add or otherwise contribute additional assets or income, or both, to an existing or newly created or existing special needs trust.
