All laws or parts of laws relating to beneficiaries of the Veterans Affairs inconsistent with this chapter are hereby repealed. Except where inconsistent with this chapter, the general guardianship laws of this state and the laws establishing the practice in such matters including rights of appeal, shall be applicable to such beneficiaries and their estates.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 388.380
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
- Veterans Affairs: means the United States Department of Veterans
Affairs, its predecessors or successors. See Kentucky Statutes 388.190
