The accounts of committees may be settled in the same manner, and the settlements shall have the same effect, as prescribed by KRS § 395.600 and KRS § 395.640. The District Court of the county in which the committee is appointed shall have the jurisdiction of making the settlements.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
