(1) Within ten (10) days after the creation of any board under KRS § 78.400 to KRS § 78.460, the county judge/executive shall certify to the board the names, rank, rate of pay, the seniority of every officer and employee on the police force as of the effective date of the fiscal court order creating the board.
(2) If there is a board in existence June 14, 1962, the county judge/executive shall within thirty (30) days certify the chief and assistant chief to the board.
