Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:952.61
- Board of supervisors: means the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:952.1
- Retirement: means withdrawal from active service with a retirement allowance granted under the provisions of this part. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:952.1
- Retirement system: means the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana as defined in La. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
- State: means the state of Louisiana. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:952.1
- University: means all campuses and divisions of the Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:952.1
A. The general administration and responsibility for the proper operation of the retirement system and for making effective the provisions of this chapter are vested in the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.
B. The Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College and the Board of Trustees of the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System are authorized to enter into an administrative services agreement, whereby general administrative and operational services required herein of the board of supervisors may be performed by the Board of Trustees of the Louisiana State Employees Retirement System.
