- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
The Louisiana Cancer Research Center of L.S.U. Health Sciences Center in New Orleans/Tulane Health Sciences Center, hereafter referred to as “center”, is hereby created as a body corporate under the administration of a governance board as provided in this Chapter and in accordance with La. Rev. Stat. 17:3390(B). The domicile of the center shall be Orleans Parish. The center shall operate on a fiscal year basis commencing on July first and ending on June thirtieth of each year.
