Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2065

  • Department: means the Department of Environmental Quality. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2004
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

In accordance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 2.1 of the Constitution of Louisiana and La. Rev. Stat. 30:2014, for Fiscal Year 1997-1998, the Department of Environmental Quality is authorized to increase any fee listed in the current fee schedules provided for under the department’s air quality control program rules and regulations.  The fees may be increased by a maximum of eight percent.
