A. An infant at any stage of development who has survived an abortion procedure resulting in his or her live birth shall be given reasonable and immediate medical care as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 40:1061.13(C), whether the abortion was considered legal or illegal under the law at the time that the abortion was performed.
B. The provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 40:1061.1 shall apply to this Section.
