Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:562

  • disclosure: means the release of information or data with the consent, as indicated by a signed consent form, of the individual or individuals to whom the information pertains by either the division of unemployment insurance or the housing authority. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:561
  • Louisiana Workforce Commission: means the Louisiana Workforce Commission and its subdivisions, including the office of unemployment insurance administration, or its successor. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 40:561

Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, particularly the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 23:1660(C), any housing authority in the state and the Louisiana Workforce Commission may enter into a cooperative agreement for the ongoing disclosure of wage records and unemployment compensation data.  Such disclosure shall be made through a computer matching operation to be used by the housing authorities to determine initial and continuing eligibility of applicants for and participants in any housing assistance program covered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
