Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:616
- Member: means any person included in the membership of the system. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:403
- Retirement: means termination of active service, with a retirement allowance granted under the provisions of this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:403
A. A member who is eligible for regular retirement may elect to participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan in accordance with the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 11:447 through 454, or the Initial Benefit Option provided by La. Rev. Stat. 11:446(A)(5).
B. Any member of this plan may elect to participate in the Annual Cost-of-Living Adjustment Option provided by La. Rev. Stat. 11:446(A)(6).
