Any person who, for any of the purposes mentioned in La. Rev. Stat. 14:223 through 223.7, possesses or controls any electronic, mechanical, or other device for manufacturing or reproducing recordings or counterfeit labels, or who possesses or controls any tool, implement, instrument, or thing, used, fitted, or intended to be used for such purposes within the state of Louisiana shall be guilty of a criminal offense and punished as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 14:223.3.
