Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:2048.32 – Allied health professionals training programs; expansion or establishment; salary of faculty members
A. The Board of Regents and the postsecondary education management boards shall seek to expand or establish additional training programs for identified allied health professionals whenever the information reported pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 17:2048.31 indicates a consistent lack of availability of places in existing training programs for qualified applicants.
B. The salary and other benefits of faculty members in said programs may be adjusted as necessary to attract and retain the necessary number of qualified teachers.
C. Expansion of existing programs or establishment of additional programs shall be sought with due regard for the efficient expenditure of state funds.
