- Board: means a local workforce development board as described in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, 29 U. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:2061
- Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
The presiding officer of a board shall be selected from among the members of the board who represent the private sector.
