Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:993

The penalties for any person who violates La. Rev. Stat. 23:992 shall be as follows:

(1)  A first violation shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, regardless of the number of aliens employed, hired, recruited, or referred in violation of La. Rev. Stat. 23:992.

(2)  A second violation shall be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred fifty dollars for each alien employed, hired, recruited, or referred in violation of La. Rev. Stat. 23:992.

(3)  A third or subsequent violation shall be punishable by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than two thousand dollars for each alien employed, hired, recruited, or referred in violation of La. Rev. Stat. 23:992.
