Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 24:107
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Commission: means the Streamlining Government Commission. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 24:102
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
A. The commission may apply for, contract for, receive, and expend for purposes of this Part any appropriation or grant from the state, its political subdivisions, the federal government, or any other public or private source.
B. The books and records of the commission shall be subject to audit by the legislative auditor pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 24:513.
