Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1177
- Board: means the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1164
- Pharmacist: means an individual currently licensed by the board to engage in the practice of pharmacy in the state. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1164
A. Except as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 37:1175, pharmacist members of the board shall be appointed for a term of six years, beginning on July first of the year in which the appointment is made.
B. The terms of the pharmacist members of the board shall be staggered, so that the terms of no more than six pharmacist members shall expire in any year. Each member shall serve until a successor is appointed and qualified.
C. The at-large consumer representative shall serve at the pleasure of the governor.
