Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1257
- Board: means the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1164
- Permit: means the grant of authority by the board to any person authorizing the practice of pharmacy at a site. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1164
- Pharmacy: means any place located within this state where drugs are dispensed and pharmacy primary care is provided, and any place outside of this state where drugs are dispensed and pharmacy primary care is provided to residents of this state. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1164
A. The board shall promulgate rules and regulations in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act to implement the provisions of this Part and the applicable provisions of the Pharmacy Benefit Manager Licensing Law, La. Rev. Stat. 40:2861 et seq.
B. The board may promulgate rules and regulations to specify permit renewal reporting requirements for pharmacy benefit managers.
C. The board shall charge fees for the issuance of pharmacy benefit manager permits in the amounts authorized by La. Rev. Stat. 37:1184.
