Acts constituting violations as set out in La. Rev. Stat. 37:925 shall be subject to prosecution.  This prosecution shall be brought in the name of the state, but nothing in this Part shall prevent or interfere with the prosecution of such proceedings by the attorney general or the district attorney of any parish, when the proceedings have been initiated by him.
