- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
The owner of any residential property shall be liable for all damages caused by his failure to perform the duties required of him pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 40:1285.6 or La. Rev. Stat. 40:1285.7.
