All natural and other odorless gases shall be malodorized by the use of a malodorant in accordance with pipeline safety rules and regulations promulgated by the assistant secretary of the office of conservation of the Department of Energy and Natural Resources, or in the case of liquefied petroleum gas, in accordance with La. Rev. Stat. 40:1846(B)(5) and (6).
