Notwithstanding any provision of the state Sanitary Code or any other law or regulation to the contrary, it shall be lawful for a not-for-profit entity or a charitable organization to receive or use any commercial or game fish, migratory or resident game bird, game quadruped, as defined in La. Rev. Stat. 56:8, alligator, or feral hog in food or meal distribution at no cost to an individual.
