Terms Used In Louisiana Civil Code 3532

  • Intestate: Dying without leaving a will.
  • Testate: To die leaving a will.

Except as otherwise provided in this Title, testate and intestate succession to movables is governed by the law of the state in which the deceased was domiciled at the time of death.
