Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:821
- Board of trustees: means the board provided for in Part V of this Chapter to administer the retirement system. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
- Retirement: means withdrawal from active service with a retirement allowance granted under the provisions of this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
The general administration and responsibility for the proper operation of the retirement system and for making effective the provisions of this Chapter are vested in a board of trustees which shall be organized immediately after a majority of the trustees provided for in this Part shall have qualified and taken the oath of office.
