Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:901.20
- Board of trustees: means the board provided for in Part V of this Chapter to administer the retirement system. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
- Retirement: means withdrawal from active service with a retirement allowance granted under the provisions of this Chapter. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
- Retirement allowance: means the sum of the annuity and the pensions or any optional benefit payable in lieu thereof. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
- Retirement system: means the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana as defined in La. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 11:701
The moneys appropriated by La. Rev. Stat. 11:901.18 shall further be used to provide a supplement to the retirement allowance of any teacher who is now, or will be retired with a retirement allowance by the board of trustees of the teachers’ retirement system of Louisiana under the provisions of Parts III and VII of this Chapter, or by the board of trustees of the teachers’ retirement fund of Orleans Parish under the conditions and the methods of computing the amount of the supplement provided for in La. Rev. Stat. 11:901.21 through 901.23.
