From the proceeds of the sale of property ordered sold, pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 13:3876, the sheriff or constable shall first deduct the costs of the sale, as well as the costs, charges and commissions due his office, and any balance remaining shall be deposited in the registry of the court, or if the court has no registry, shall be turned over to the clerk, to be held for account of the parties in interest.
