Any person who advertises, offers for rental, sale, resale, distribution, or circulation, or rents, sells, resells, distributes, or circulates, or causes to be sold, resold, distributed, or circulated, or possesses for such purposes, any recording the cover, label, or jacket of which fails to conspicuously display thereon in clearly readable print, the true name and address of the manufacturer and the name of any actual performer or group thereof shall be guilty of a criminal offense and punished as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 14:223.3.
