The offices of assistant district attorneys of the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District of this state, comprising the parish of Jefferson, are hereby created. The minimum number of assistant district attorneys shall be as set out in La. Rev. Stat. 16:51 and any additional assistant district attorneys that shall be appointed by the district attorney. Each assistant district attorney shall serve at the pleasure of the district attorney.
