Louisiana Revised Statutes 22:16 – Failure to comply with written orders or directives; penalties
If any insurance company or rating organization fails to comply with a written directive or order issued by the commissioner of insurance pursuant to this Subpart within thirty days of the issuance thereof, the commissioner may levy and receive a fine of up to twenty-five thousand dollars. If a hearing has been requested by the insurance company or rating organization, the penalty shall not be imposed until such time as the division of administrative law makes a finding and issues an order that the penalty is warranted in a proper hearing, held in the manner provided in Chapter 12 of this Title, La. Rev. Stat. 22:2191 et seq.
