A. Any person subject to the regulatory authority of the commissioner who fails to comply with any directive issued by the commissioner in connection with a consumer complaint may be fined an amount not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars for each occurrence.
B. Any person against whom a fine has been levied shall be given ten days’ notice of the action. Upon receipt of this notice, the person aggrieved shall be entitled to a hearing pursuant to Chapter 12 of this Title, La. Rev. Stat. 22:2191 et seq.
