Every life or endowment insurance policy, other than a term life policy for twenty years or less and an industrial life insurance policy with coverage of one thousand two hundred fifty dollars or less issued pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 22:146, issued on the life of a resident of this state or delivered within this state by any insurer, on or after January 1, 1937, unless the company exercises its option provided in La. Rev. Stat. 22:936(H), shall require that after three full annual premiums have been paid, the policy shall not be forfeited without value for the nonpayment of any subsequent premiums or for policy loan indebtedness or the interest thereon except as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 22:935.
