The Board of Supervisors of the Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College is the governing board of the experiment stations in Louisiana, mentioned or contemplated by the Acts of Congress recited in La. Rev. Stat. 3:1022, and is the beneficiary of all moneys granted by those Acts of Congress, with full power to receive, administer, and expend the funds. The treasurer of the Board, or other officer duly appointed by it, is authorized to receive and receipt for all moneys granted by those Acts of Congress.
