Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 32:864
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: means every natural person, firm, co-partnership, association, or corporation. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 32:851
Any person, firm or corporation which violates La. Rev. Stat. 32:863(A)(2) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than five hundred dollars, nor more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned for a period of not more than thirty days.
