Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the mayor of the town of Rosepine may impose court costs not to exceed thirty dollars for each offense, as defined by ordinance, on any defendant convicted of a violation of a municipal ordinance. The court costs authorized by this Section shall be in addition to the court costs authorized by La. Rev. Stat. 33:441.
