Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:9027
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Neither the state nor any of its local governmental subdivisions organizing an economic development corporation pursuant to this Chapter shall be held liable for any action of such corporation.
