Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1267
- Board: means the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1262
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
Six members of the board constitute a quorum for all purposes including the holding of examinations, the granting of licenses and permits, rulemaking, and, except as provided in La. Rev. Stat. 37:1285.1, the adjudication functions of the board.
