Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1797
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of the Office of Financial Institutions within the office of the governor. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1782
- Law enforcement officer: means :
(a) The law enforcement officers of the office of state police and the probation and parole officers of the division of probation and parole of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1782
- Person: means natural and juridical persons. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:1782
A. The commissioner, or his designee, may inspect all records of any person regulated by the provisions of this Part to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Part and any rules or regulations adopted under this Part.
B. The records maintained pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 37:1796 shall at all times be open to the inspection of the appropriate law enforcement officer as defined in La. Rev. Stat. 37:1782(5).
