Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2203
- commissioner: as used in this Chapter , means the commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2202
- person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 1:10
- weather modification: as used in this Chapter , means the changing or controlling by chemical, mechanical, or physical methods the occurrence of lightning or the precipitation of rain, hail, mist, sleet, or snow. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2202
Any person who engages in weather modification shall prior to engaging in such activity obtain a license from the commissioner in accordance with the procedure established by the commissioner. Each application for a license shall be accompanied by a fee of twenty-five dollars.
