- weather modification: as used in this Chapter , means the changing or controlling by chemical, mechanical, or physical methods the occurrence of lightning or the precipitation of rain, hail, mist, sleet, or snow. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2202
Any person engaging in weather modification without a license shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not exceeding five hundred dollars for each separate offense.
