- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
In addition to the license fees mentioned in La. Rev. Stat. 4:161, the licensee conducting the racing meetings shall pay to the collector twenty-five cents for each person attending the races other than licensed personnel, employees, officials, and working press. These payments shall be made at the conclusion of each calendar week during every race meeting and shall be accompanied by a report under oath showing the total contributions and admissions of the races covered by the report, and any other information that the commission may require. The funds collected pursuant to this Section shall be deposited in the state general fund.
