           The provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 41:510 through 511 shall apply to any homestead entries made by honorably discharged veterans of the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II and the Korean Conflict, pursuant to the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 41:501 through 509 made after the date of the discharge of such veterans and which may now be pending in the office of the register of state lands of the state of Louisiana; provided that all patents issued under the homestead entries aforesaid expressly reserve all mineral rights in the lands so patented to the state of Louisiana, in pursuance of La. Const. Art. IV, § 2 .*

           The terms of La. Rev. Stat. 41:510 through 511 shall be subject to the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 41:98 and to the executive order issued by the governor under date of March 20, 1917, pursuant to Act 258 of 1912 and Act 38 of 1914.
