Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 43:146
- Newspaper: shall mean a publication that complies with the requirement of Louisiana Revised Statutes 43:140
- Office: shall mean the newspaper's principal public business office and need not be the place at which the newspaper's printing presses are physically located. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 43:140
Where there is no newspaper published in an office physically located within the parish which meets the requirements of La. Rev. Stat. 43:140(3), a newspaper in an adjoining parish may be designated as the official journal.
