Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 45:201.11
- Person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 45:162
- Vehicle: means every device by which any person or property is transported upon the highways of this state, except devices moved by animal power or exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 45:162
Any person who shall operate a vehicle upon any street in violation of La. Rev. Stat. 45:201.6 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned for not less than sixty days nor more than one year, or both.
