Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 46:2116.4
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Department: means the Louisiana Department of Health. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 46:2116.1
- person: includes a body of persons, whether incorporated or not. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 1:10
Any person who is aggrieved by a decision of the department with regard to a request for provision of personal assistance services may appeal said decision within thirty days in accordance with the provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 46:107. Such appeal shall be conducted in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act and shall be subject to judicial review.
