Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 9:1122.103
- Condominium parcel: means a unit together with the undivided interest in the common elements which is an inseparable component part of the unit. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 9:1121.103
- declaration: means the instrument by which immovable property is made subject to this Part. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 9:1121.103
A. All provisions of the declaration and bylaws are severable.
B. The effectiveness of the condominium declaration and merchantability of title to a condominium parcel is not affected by reason of an insubstantial failure of the declaration to comply with this Part.
C. Notwithstanding any law or agreement to the contrary, provisions in the declaration and bylaws restricting conveyance based on race or religion shall be void as provided by La. Rev. Stat. 9:2730.
